Texas Thunder Indoor Season
Wow!! Indoor is here and we are enjoying watching these athletes prepare for there season. The indoor season is a time for athletes to shake off the cobwebs and get back to competition.
What is indoor season?
In the south, most teams practice outside and compete indoor during December, January, and February,
More prestigious meets are held at the beginning of March. AAU and USATF nationals, NASAF, New Balance, and many more.
Experienced athletes understand the indoor season helps prepare them to reach PRs and break records during their out door season.
Looking forward to a great season.

Thunder Cross Country is in full swing!
The Texas Thunder athletes have been doing an amazing job this season. Even after having to stay in quarantine last season. It has been a pleasure to watch these young athletes compete and regain their legs. They have competed in a few local meets and a few in the Houston area. They will be competing at the Footlocker meet at the end of the season. We also want to send a congratulations to all of our middle school and high school athletes representing their schools with hopes to make it to the next level.
Our next season will be our indoor season and we are looking for to it.

2020 Cross Country Succes!
There are two young ladies I would like to highlight from Texas Thunder Track Club. 1st Emma Wade, an 8th grader, 2nd Isa Conde Frankenberg, a freshman.
These two young ladies embraced and conquered their cross country seasons.
Emma Wade is an 8th grader in LISD at Styles Middle school. She won all of her races, was district champ and dropped amazing times in her 2 mile races.
Isa Conde Frankenberg is a freshman in LISD at Cedar Park High School. She was always in the top 3 finishers her entire season, low 17’s in her 5k races, and was crowned the 5A state champion.
Both of these young ladies have great work ethic and embraced the process with Coach Roddy to help them reach their goals. We are very excited to see what their future holds.
