Once again Texas Thunder came to take care of business. We started the day with the 1500 run. Leona dropped a PR and earned herself an 8th place medal. Max faught his way up and placed 5th after being spiked at the beginning of the race. Arethea ran an exciting race and placed 6th. Krianne's and Isa's race was a nail biter. Amazing PRs acheived with grit and determination, these ladies landed themselves on the medal stand. A 2nd for Krianne and 3rd for Isa. Isaiah, Journey, and Daniel faught great battles. Some PRs acheived and lessons learned. Emi placed 7th in the 80m hurdles finals!! Starla threw an amazing distance for her first national experience in the Javilin. This brought our medal total to 16!! Highest in Texas Thunder history. And we were able to take pictures and get autographs with Paul McMullen, semi-finalist Atlanta 1996. Won multiple National Championships. He attended Eastern Michigan University. 1500m PR 3:33.89.
